Which data we collect and process
1. Log Data
When you visit our website, the device that you use to access the page automatically transmits log data (connection data) to the servers of our hosting service provider. Log data contains the IP address of accessing device, the type of browser, the system configuration, the previously visited website (referrer URL), as well as date and time information. The IP addresses are stored only to the extent necessary to provide the services. Otherwise, the IP addresses are deleted or anonymized. Your IP address when visiting our website is stored for a maximum of 7 days to detect and ward off attacks.
2. Cookies
Based on our legitimate interests (i.e. analysis, optimization and economic operation of our website pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f of the GDPR) the website of SPACE IC uses cookies. Cookies are small text files which are stored on the device you used to access the website. A cookie is primarily used to store information about a user (or the device on which the cookie is stored) during or after his visit to the website. We use so called temporary “session” cookies, which enable the correct presentation of the website. Session cookies are already deleted when you close your web browser. Furthermore we use persistent cookies which remain on your device for a pre-defined period of time. These are used to recognize our website users to enable statistical analysis of our website usage and optimization of our website content and user experience.
Cookie opt-out: You can prevent the setting of cookies at any time by means of an appropriate setting of your Internet browser used and thus permanently deny the setting of cookies. Furthermore, already set cookies can be deleted at any time via an internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all common internet browsers. If you deactivate the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be fully usable.
3. Google Analytics
Based on our legitimate interests (i.e. analysis, optimization and economic operation of our website pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f of the GDPR) we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). The purpose is to analyze the flow of visitors on our website. Among other things, Google uses the data and information obtained to evaluate the use of our website in order to compile online reports for us.
Google Analytics sets a cookie in your browser. By using this cookie Google is enabled to analyze the usage of our website. Each time you visit a web page that has a Google Analytics component integrated into it, the web browser automatically causes it to submit data to Google which is usually stored on a Google server in the USA. No personal data will be transmitted to Google. The IP address we collect will be forwarded to Google only after anonymization.
Google Analytics opt-out: It is possible to object to the collection and processing of this data by Google. You can deactivate Google Analytics just for the SPACE IC website by clicking HERE. This will set an opt-out cookie in your current web browser. If you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again. Alternatively you can generally deactivate Google Analytics by downloading and installing a browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Additional information and Google's privacy policy can be found at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ and https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html. Google Analytics is explained in more detail at https://www.google.com/analytics/.
4. 3rd Party Content:
Based on our legitimate interests (i.e. economic operation of our website within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f of the GDPR), we make use of content or services offered by third-party providers, such as inclusion of videos or maps. This always presupposes that the third party providers of this content perceive your IP address, since they could not send the content to your browser without the IP address. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content.
YouTube: We embed videos from the YouTube platform of Google Inc, ("Google"). Google's privacy policy can be found at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
Google Maps: We include maps from the Google Maps service provided by Google Inc, ("Google"). The processed data may include, in particular, your location data, but these are not collected without your consent (usually as part of the settings of your mobile devices). The data can be processed in the USA. Google's privacy policy can be found at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

If you contact us via the online form or by e-mail, we will store and process the information and personal data you have provided in order to respond to your request (pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b of the GDPR). The personal data can be stored in a Customer Relationship Management System ("CRM System").
We delete your requests and data if they are no longer required. We check the necessity every two years. Copies in our backup system are automatically deleted with a time delay. Furthermore, the legal archiving obligations apply.
The use of all published contact details on our website for the purpose of advertising is expressly prohibited. We reserve the right to take legal steps in the case of the sending unwanted spam messages.

Collaboration with processors
If, in the context of our processing, we disclose data to other persons and companies (contract processors), this will only be done based on our legitimate interests (e.g. maintaining our business activities and provision of our services by the use of IT service providers, webhosters, financial accounting, tax office, etc.). We have ensured the security of your data by concluding data processing agreements on the basis of Art. 28 GDPR.
Deletion of data
Unless explicitly stated in this privacy policy, the data processed by us are deleted in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 GDPR as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory storage requirements. This applies, for example for data that must be kept for commercial or tax reasons.
